5. Method of using plant growth regulator
In daily production, the application method of the plant growth regulator used by us varies depending on the type, application object and purpose of use, and some commonly used application methods are briefly introduced.
Spray
Most plant growth regulators can be sprayed, and plants have a systemic adsorption function for such plant growth regulators. For example, sodium nitrophenolate, amine fresh ester, sodium a-naphthaleneacetate, DCPTA, ketamine, paclobutrazol, alizarin lactone, etc., when applied, firstly spray the plants at the corresponding concentration as required, requiring droplets to be fine and uniform. Moisture at the spray site. At the same time, in order to make the agent easy to adhere to the surface of the plant, a small amount of a surfactant (such as washing powder, sodium dodecyl sulfonate, etc.) and other adjuvants may be added to the agent to increase the adhesion of the agent.
Soak
It is often used to promote rooting, ripening fruit, storage and preservation. For example, when the woody plant is transplanted, it is placed in 50 mg/L of indole butyric acid, and after invading for 12 to 24 hours, it is directly inserted into the seedbed. The quick-twist method can also be used. For example, sodium naphthalate acetate and talc powder are uniformly mixed at 1:1000, and the lower part of the insert is soaked with water, and then a little powder is poured into the seedbed. Storage and fresh-keeping can be used for fresh cut flowers. The flowers are directly immersed in 10mg/L dinitrophenol solution and stored at a low temperature of 2~5°C to extend the shelf life.
Wipe
Apply the liquid to a part of the plant. The ointment containing the medicament is directly applied to the treatment site, and is mostly applied to the wound to promote rooting and wound healing. The high-altitude strip incision smear method can be used for the reproduction of expensive and difficult-to-root flowers by cutting the branches to expose the phloem, applying the medicine-containing ointment to the incision, and wrapping the film with a film to prevent evaporation of water.
Water
The plant growth regulator is formulated into an aqueous solution. It is directly applied to the soil or mixed with fertilizers, for example, in the process of planting greenhouse vegetables, sodium nitrophenolate can be applied together with the fertilization. For example, if the potted flower is used, the amount of solution required depends on the size of the plant and the pot. Generally, the diameter of the 9~12cm caliber pot needs 200~300mL. In order to promote the flowering of the plant and control the growth of the stem and branches of the plant, the d.1% dwarf can be used. A strong aqueous solution is watered.
Seed dressing and seed coating
Seed dressing and seed coating methods are mainly used for seed treatment. When the seed is treated with a bactericide, an insecticide, or the like, a plant growth regulator may be appropriately added. The seed dressing method is to mix the medicine and the seed and mix well, so that the surface of the seed is stained with the medicine. For example, the medicine is sprayed on the seed with a watering can, and the seed is evenly stirred, so as to be seeded with the amine fresh ester, the seed germination can be stimulated and the rooting can be promoted. The seed coating method uses a special dosage form seed coating agent to wrap it on the outside of the seed to form a film with a certain thickness. In addition to promoting seed germination, it can also achieve the purpose of controlling pests and diseases, increasing mineral nutrition, and regulating plant growth.
Shishi
When applying the base fertilizer to the crops, some plant growth regulators can be added to promote the rooting and germination of the crops, promote the absorption and utilization of the fertilizers by the crops, and improve the resistance to disease and disease.
Drip application
Recently, in afforestation and gardening, more and more nutrients such as plant growth regulators and micro-fertilizers have been applied to trees. This method is simple to apply, easy to operate, cost-effective, and has improved utilization.
